Saturday was supposed to be the date of Michigan football's season opener.
Instead, Jim Harbaugh and several of his players could only gather outside the stadium for a protest of the Big Ten's decision to postpone all fall sports.
And in his first public comments since the postponement, Harbaugh had a simple message for reporters.

“Free the Big Ten," Harbaugh said. "Like my brother John Harbaugh said. I mean, says it all. We want to be free to play.
