Michigan football has lost a member of its 2022 recruiting class.
Four-star linebacker Tyler Martin tweeted Thursday night that he has re-opened his recruitment.
"With changes to the defensive staff at Michigan, I believe it is important for me and only fair to Michigan to reopen my recruitment and continue to build relationships," Martin wrote. "I want to be certain that I am making the best choice for myself and my future."
Martin is ranked No. 278 overall, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He committed to Michigan this past September.
Martin, who attends Buckingham, Browne & Nichols High School (the same school as sophomore guard Zak Zinter), was part of Michigan's recruiting pipeline to Massachusetts.
