ORLANDO, Fla. — Michigan football has a couple of players working at new positions during practices for the Citrus Bowl.
The media was allowed to watch the initial 15 minutes of Friday's practice — the first of five that will take place in Orlando — and during that period, Ben VanSumeren and George Johnson appeared to work with new position groups.
VanSumeren practiced with the tight ends, running routes and catching passes from the quarterbacks. The redshirt freshman was at running back this season and had nine catches for 20 yards and one touchdown.
