Mike Zordich’s intentions were clear.
During the final week of fall camp late last month, Michigan’s third-year cornerbacks coach entered Schembechler Hall for a scheduled meeting with reporters.
It was an opportunity, he thought, to send a message. If his words weren’t coming through loud enough, maybe he needed a wider audience.
“I don’t know if they’re just afraid to make plays. Again, they have the ability, and they’ve shown it, and they’ve done it in live situations at practice, but they have to understand it has to be on a consistent basis,” Zordich said.
