No matter what happens against Ohio State Saturday, Michigan football should be headed towards a decent bowl matchup. It’s just hard to figure out where the Wolverines could land.
Of course, as a 10-point underdog at home to the highly-touted Buckeyes, everyone is projecting Michigan football to finish at 9-3, which would also put the Wolverines at 6-3 in the Big Ten Conference.
If Ohio State went on and reached the playoff, it would actually help the Wolverines in terms of bowl position. And following the win over Indiana, the 9-2 Wolverines are being projected to a variety of bowl games including the Citrus Bowl, the Outback Bowl, Holiday Bowl and Gator Bowl.
