Michigan football bowl projections: Is the Rose Bowl a possibility?

The Michigan football team has four games under its belt and a 3-1 record. And since losing its opener to Notre Dame, the Wolverines have looked like a team that could contend in the Big Ten East.

But could they make it to the Rose Bowl? One national publication thinks so.

In a weekly roundup of bowl game projections after Week 4 of the college football season, Jason Kirk of SBNation lists a scenario in which both Ohio State and Penn State make the College Football Playoff, putting Michigan in place to head to Pasadena.
