Michigan Football Basking in Michigan State Basketball Loss

We still have 169 days until Michigan football kicks off its 2016 season against Hawaii, but players had good reason to be excited in March when Michigan State got upset by Middle Tennessee in the NCAA Tournament.

The No. 15 seed Spartans got beat in the first round of the tournament by the No. 15 seed Blue Raiders, 90-81. It was the eighth time a No. 15 seed has upset a No. 2 seed.

Remember when the bracket came out and we were all shocked that Michigan State wasn’t a No. 1 seed? Good times.
