EVANSTON, Ill. — Michigan was in serious trouble. The Wolverines' season was on the brink and defensive end Chase Winovich grabbed his teammates on the sideline.
“I looked each person in the eye,” Winovich said. “I said, ‘this is the point we have to double down. They can’t take this from us. This is our game.’”
Northwestern was rolling. The Wildcats had a 17-0 lead and Michigan couldn’t do anything right.
