There is something significant about a number. At Michigan football, that’s especially true about some. Take the No. 1 and wide receivers for instance.
But one number that has zero tradition with Michigan football or any other program is the number zero. That’s because the NCAA didn’t allow players to wear that number before, a rule that was recently changed.
Now, it’s come out that not one, but two Michigan football players will wear that number next season as Giles Jackson and incoming freshman Andre Seldon announced on Twitter Friday.
Seldon, a 5-foot-8 corner with tremendous speed was the first to come out and say that he was going to wear the number for Michigan football next season and seeing that speed is one of his strengths, it made sense.
