Michigan football and LSU have discussed scheduling a game, according to a report from The Athletic.
LSU athletic director Scott Woodward told reporters Thursday that he has spoken to U-M's athletic department about a potential future matchup, adding that he "wants it to happen."
The two teams have never played before — and even if a game or series is scheduled, likely won't for a while.
Michigan's future non-conference schedule is full in 2021 and 2022, while LSU's is full in 2023. The Wolverines are also scheduled to play a home-and-home series against Texas in 2024 and 2027, and a home-and-home series against Oklahoma in 2025 and 2026.
