Michigan Football: an early projection of the running back platoon

Returning three key rushers from a year ago, Michigan Football should have a loaded backfield in 2018. Although the Wolverines didn’t have a 1,000 yard rusher last season, multiple ball carriers combined to compile over 2,000 yards.

Michigan will be returning their two top backs from last season, Karan Higdon and Chris Evans. After deciding against the NFL Draft, Higdon is back for his senior season in Ann Arbor. He lead all Wolverine backs last season with 994 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns. His quick feet and powerful burst of speed set him aside from Ty Isaac and Evans.
