Aidan Hutchinson has the pedigree to play at Michigan.
The 6-foot-6, 268-pound freshman defensive end was a 4-star recruit at Dearborn Divine Child. He played in the Army All-American game. His father, Chris, played at Michigan from 1989-1992 and was a first-team All-American his senior year.
Hutchinson always was meant to play for the Wolverines.
That’s not to say the transition from high school to college was seamless. Hutchinson recalled his first collegiate snap at Notre Dame on Tuesday night.
“Rashan (Gary) was tired, he ran off the field,” Hutchinson said.
