When it comes to the 2019 recruiting class, Michigan football has just one scholarship quarterback and that’s four-star Cade McNamara. However, in order to bring some more depth to the position, the Wolverines have added another in preferred walk-on Ren Hefley.
If you have never heard of Hefley, don’t feel bad. You would have to be incredibly knowledgeable in college football recruiting to know much about the high school quarterback from Arkansas.
However, the kid who is rated as a two-star by Rivals.com did visit Michigan football during the Wisconsin game and at that time, it appears he was offered a chance to join the Wolverines as a preferred walk-on.
