A wide receiver from Ohio has joined the recent wave of Michigan football commitments.
Markus Allen, a three-star recruit, declared his intention to join Jim Harbaugh's program in a video posted Tuesday on Twitter.
Allen, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound product of Northmont High School in Clayton, Ohio, had a number of Power Five offers and was also considering West Virginia, Purdue and Pittsburgh, among others.
With Josh Gattis acting as the point person, the Wolverines tendered him a scholarship in early February. Allen becomes the first 2021 receiver to make a commitment to Michigan and the 11th player to join the Wolverines' next class of prospects.
