Former Michigan football quarterback and running back Denard Robinson is returning to Ann Arbor to join coach Jim Harbaugh’s staff. The athletic department announced the addition in a press release Thursday afternoon.
Robinson, 31, was named assistant director of player personnel for the Wolverines to aid the program in an off-field role. He will work alongside director of player personnel Tom Gamble and director of recruiting operations Albert Karschnia.

“Denard is an energetic guy who always has a smile on his face,” Harbaugh said in the release.
