The Michigan football team didn’t come out and wow people against Maryland on Saturday in what ended up being a 38-7 win. But that doesn’t matter. A win is a win.
And overall, it’s hard to be disappointed in a 31-point victory, on the road, in conference play. Yes, the offense could have been more effective, but the defense was darn good.
Michigan only allowed a touchdown on a kickoff return and twice turned the Terps away in the red zone. Maryland barely went over 200 total yards, completed less than 50 percent of its passes and averaged 2.
