Michigan lost out on a highly touted quarterback recruit Thursday afternoon.

Marietta (Ga.) quarterback Harrison Bailey picked Tennessee over the Wolverines during an announcement ceremony at his school.

Bailey is one of the top quarterbacks in the class of 2020 and was a top target for Michigan.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Bailey is the No. 59 overall prospect in the nation. As a junior, the 4-star prospect completed 212 of 335 passes for 2,809 yards with 29 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Michigan recruited Bailey hard. His decision means the Wolverines are still searching for a quarterback in the 2020 class.
