With the Wolverines headed into the biggest bowl game in Jim Harbaugh’s short career as the Michigan football coach, you have to wonder, does he have what it takes to win the big game?
The only bowl victory Jim has under his belt was in his first year coaching in the Big Ten, and that’s without the players he recruited, those were Brady Hoke’s men. And while Harbaugh was able to polish off a top ten in Notre Dame this year, many are speculating that the Fighting Irish weren’t worthy of their rank.
To make matters worse, there’s the team down south that hasn’t lost to their northern neighbors since 2011, with the past two matches dominated by the school whose mascot is a ridiculously dressed nut.
