Michigan football had some good moments in the win over SMU Saturday at the Big House, but there were also some moments that weren’t so terrific.
For a team that was a 35-point favorite, Michigan football certainly didn’t play like one. In the first half, the defense played well, until it allowed a 55-yard touchdown pass because of a blown coverage. Then, in the second half, the offense got things going after struggling for much of the opening half.
Really, the offense didn’t even play that bad to start. The first drive ended in a punt, then Shea Patterson threw an interception on a long drive down the field.
