1. It was sloppy. And ugly, too.
And probably will be for a while as long as U-M struggles to throw the ball. Which could be the rest of the season.
That said, beating Indiana, 27-20, in overtime Saturday afternoon revealed a bit of character in these Wolverines.
On a day when they committed 16 penalties, and completed only 10 passes, and gave up a 10-point, fourth-quarter lead, including a 46-yard field goal on the final play of regulation, U-M gutted out a season-saving win.
