For the past few weeks, much of the focus surrounding Michigan football has been on recruiting, as the Wolverines put the finishing touches on the 2019 recruiting class this week and surged ahead with work on 2020 and beyond.
But now that we essentially know who is going to be joining the Michigan football program next season and who won’t be, it’s a good time to take a look at the Wolverines defense. Earlier in the offseason, we broke down the offense and looked at five questions facing that side of the ball.
Now, it’s time to take a look at the defense and some of the things that Michigan football needs to take care of that on side of the ball if the Wolverines want to have a chance at winning the Big Ten in 2019 and beating arch rival Ohio State.
