Michigan Football 2017 Player Profile: Tyrone Wheatley Jr.

Part of the new look Michigan football is going to carry this season is lot of new pass catchers, including at tight end, where the Wolverines are going to be without Jake Butt and his 546 receiving yards from last season.

One good candidate to step up and and fill that void is senior Ian Bunting, who played in 11 games last season and caught five passes.

But another good candidate to do that—and you can easily argue this is the more exciting prospect—is Tyrone Wheatley Jr., who redshirted his freshman year in 2015 and then played in 12 games last season.
