Last season at this point, there were very few positive things to say about the Michigan football offense. This time around, nowhere is the transformation more evident than with the receivers.
Michigan is returning its top three pass-catchers from last season in Jehu Chesson (50 receptions, 764 yards, nine touchdowns), Amara Darboh (58 receptions, 727 yards, five touchdowns), and tight end Jake Butt (51 receptions, 654 yards, three touchdowns).
Those are some quality numbers to be bringing back to your offense, and you can also take into account that the Wolverines probably aren’t going to struggle like they did in the first part of last season on the ground, which will in turn help things through the air.
