The Michigan Wolverines (18-7 record) finished off the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Sunday afternoon in a 9-5 victory in the Twin Cities, giving them their fifth consecutive win. The victory was headlined by three home runs and turned four double plays by the Michigan lineup.
First baseman Ted Burton was the star of the day once again with a double and three RBI on the afternoon. Benjamin Sems had a home run and a pair of RBI, while Clark Elliott had a solo shot of his own in the ninth. Jordon Rogers, Griffin Mazur and Riley Bertram would knock in the other runs for Michigan.
