After winning the National Championship on Monday night, the Michigan Wolverines were voted unanimously at No. 1 in the final Associated Press Top-25 Poll of the 2023 season.
The Wolverines defeated the Washington Huskies (who came in at No. 2), 34-13, to win their first National Championship in 26 years.
Michigan received all 61 first-place votes. Following the Wolverines are Washington, Texas, Georgia and Alabama. Despite coming in second, No. 2 was the best finish for the Huskies in the AP Poll since 1991.
Florida State and Oregon tied for sixth, with the Seminoles losing 63-3 against the Bulldogs in the Orange Bowl, and the Ducks blowing out Liberty, 45-6.
