The Michigan Wolverines escaped the Minnesota Golden Gophers, 27-24, and retained the Little Brown Jug. However, it didn’t feel like much to celebrate. There were no social media videos of the team singing “The Victors.” No heartfelt, “Talk to this guy! Talk to this guy!” moments. Not much of anything except a few shots of Michigan kicker Dom Zvada excitedly running around with the rivalry trophy like a little kid after a piñata was busted.
