ANN ARBOR -- The irony really isn't lost on Sione Houma.
Moments after dissecting his downfield route-running skills and his inability to create proper yards after catch last Saturday in a lopsided win over Rutgers, Michigan's 6-foot, 243-pound suddenly versatile Polynesian sensation stops and admits the reality of the situation.
He never expected any of this. Not even a little bit.
"I'm just taking everything in," Houma said this week. "Trying to make the most of it."
Through nine games, he's certainly doing a fine job of that.
Houma came to Michigan out of Highland High School in Utah as a 2012 signee.
