Michigan’s upcoming opponent, the Texas Longhorns, moved up one spot from No. 4 to No. 3 after blowing out Colorado State at home on Saturday.
Elsewhere around the Big Ten, Ohio State easily dispatched Akron following some first-half struggles and remained at No. 2 in the country. Oregon struggled mightily against Idaho and subsequently dropped from No. 3 to No. 7. Penn State remained at No. 8 after defeating West Virginia.
