The Michigan Wolverines have expanded their 2021 recruiting board a bit at the point guard position by sending out an offer to Carter Whitt (Raleigh, North Carolina) on Wednesday evening. The four-star prospect is the No. 72 player in the class per the 247Sports Composite and has an offer sheet that features the likes of Alabama, Boston College, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and more.
Whitt has been a player that Michigan has shown interest in recently, but he was still waiting on an offer from the Wolverines. After the news earlier this week of Angelo Brizzi committing to Villanova, it stood to reason that head coach Juwan Howard and staff might be set to expand the board in search of a ball-handling point guard in this class.
