Ann Arbor -- It had the feel of a lazy Saturday afternoon campus.
And for a while, the Wolverines looked just as lackadaisical before eventually pulling away to beat underwhelming Houston Baptist, 82-57, before a sparse crowd at Crisler Center.
Caris Levert led Michigan with 25 points and eight rebounds, and Duncan Robinson added 19 points after a frigid start.
Michigan (6-2) jumped out to an 11-0 lead before Houston Baptist (2-6) made a spirited run, with 3-pointers on three consecutive possessions.
At one point in the first half, Houston Baptist was 4-for-4 on 3-pointers while Michigan's sharp-shooter, Robinson, was 0-for-4.
