Following a home loss to Michigan State, Michigan fell two spots to No. 9 in this weeks Associated Press Poll.
Michigan (24-4, 13-4 Big Ten) went 1-1 last week, defeating Minnesota (17-11, 7-10) 69-60 at The Barn on Thursday but then falling to MSU (23-5, 14-3) 77-70 at Crisler Arena on Sunday afternoon.
The win put the Spartans up to No. 6 in this weeks poll and they are on top of the Big Ten, leading No. 14 Purdue (20-7, 13-3) by a half game and the Wolverines by a game.
The Spartans and Wolverines will meet again at the Breslin Center at 8 p.
