BARCELONA, Spain -- John Beilein said before Michigan's Spain trip he wanted his team to be challenged. He got his wish, as the Wolverines dropped their final game Saturday, 85-79 to Joventut Badalona, to finish 1-2 on their trip.
Sophomore forward Isaiah Livers and freshman Ignas Brazdeikis led Michigan with 15 points each. Charles Matthews added 14 and Austin Davis had 12.
The game was held at Pavello Esportiu Municipal, the same gym as Michigan's game on Thursday, when U-M lost 81-73 to Serbian pro team KK Mega Bemax. The Wolverines had defeated the Madrid Generales on Monday in Madrid.
