As the No.1 player in the country out of high school in 2016, Rashan Gary understood pressure.
He spent his freshman season at Michigan learning from NFL-caliber defensive ends.
Now, still in the spring of his freshman year, he’s expecting to shine in Year 2.
U-M defensive coordinator Don Brown said last week Gary and Maurice Hurst could be the best tackle-anchor tandem in the country.
Gary has no problem with that tag.
“That’s the goal, yes I do, I believe in it,” he said Wednesday after Michigan’s third practice of the spring, the first in pads.
