Michigan initially suspended Johnson indefinitely later in the day Saturday, but has since removed him from the program. That decision was made Tuesday.

"A little after 2 a.m. (on Sept. 30) one of our housing security officers found a female student outside South Quad residence hall and she reported she had been assaulted," Michigan Division of Public Safety and Security spokesperson Diane Brown said Monday.
