“Defense wins games.” “The best defense is a good offense.” These two sayings, while true depending on the situation, are very misleading. They are not the same, meanwhile, not entirely separate. In order to capitalize on good defense you need an, at least, complimentary offense. So many people have pointed out the flaws of the Wolverines offense and, if I didn’t know any better, I would think the defense was just atrocious in 2014. However, I know better. I know the Michigan defense.
