The Michigan Wolverines football team may be losing one of their top prospects from the Class of 2016, Ron Johnson, as he enters the transfer portal.
Johnson was a 4-star defensive end who just never saw his opportunity on the field in Ann Arbor. He was a valued member of the scout team, but he found himself buried in the depth chart behind Kwity Paye, Aiden Hutchinson, and Carlo Kemp.
The former top-300 prospect never recorded a tackle in his Michigan career, but he will find the opportunity to play for another school around the country if he so chooses.
