Michigan DB Clark out for season with torn ACL

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan defensive back Jeremy Clark will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL, head coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed Monday.

Clark injured his knee during the second half of a 49-10 victory over Penn State on Saturday. The redshirt senior started each of the Wolverines' first four games and made 10 tackes with three pass break-ups.

Harbaugh said the team would explore the option of petitioning the NCAA to get Clark a sixth year of eligibility.

Clark was carted off the field on Saturday and many of his teammates came off the sideline to send him off.
