Ann Arbor — In the storied, century-old history of Michigan basketball, it has seen exactly five triple-doubles.
Two have come this week.
Derrick Walton Jr., in just his second game back after suffering a left-ankle injury, saw the floor like perhaps he never has before in securing the triple-double in a 105-46 victory over Youngstown State on Saturday night at Crisler Center.
After having zero assists his first game back Tuesday, Walton posted a whopping 13 on Saturday -- the first time he's ever been in double figures. He also scored 10 and had 11 rebounds, the latter also a career high.
