Juwan Howard casually walked off the court as Michigan basketball completed another thrashing of a nonconference opponent.
The Wolverines (10-3) picked up an 86-60 win over UMass-Lowell at Crisler Center on Sunday in their first game without junior forward Isaiah Livers, who has been sidelined for the foreseeable future with a groin injury sustained Dec. 21.
In what seemed like an uncomplicated victory over the River Hawks (6-9), No. 11 Michigan proved it could run fluidly without Livers on the court in a contest that also signified the end of nonconference play and continuation of the Big Ten schedule.
