Michigan commits Dylan McCaffrey, Phillip Paea to play in Polynesian Bowl

ANN ARBOR – Less than two weeks before they sign a National Letter of Intent, a pair of 2017 Michigan commits will leave the mainland to cap their high school careers.

Dylan McCaffrey, a four-star quarterback from Valor Christian High School in Colorado, and Phillip Paea, a three-star defensive tackle from Berrien Springs High School, were both selected to play in the inaugural Polynesian Bowl. The game will be played on Jan. 21, 2017 at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu.

McCaffrey, whose addition to Polynesian Bowl was announced Wednesday, will join other top quarterback prospects. Five-star Tua Tagovailoa, an Alabama commit from Hawaii, and three-star Alex Faniel, an Ole Miss commit from Virginia, are also on the roster.
