Coming off the bye week, Michigan has a tough road matchup with Illinois looming. As is the focus with nearly every bye week, recovery and rehab from nagging injuries was a priority for Michigan last week. Two weeks after the loss to Washington, the Wolverines are hoping to be as close to full strength as possible for the top-25 tilt on Saturday.
One player Michigan was missing against Washington was junior edge rusher Derrick Moore. When asked to provide an update on Moore ahead the game against Illinois, defensive line coach Lou Esposito said he’s been getting back to action in practice.
