Michigan cornerback Will Johnson is projected to be a first-round selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, but his path to the draft has been filled with injuries since October.
After suffering a turf toe injury against Washington on Oct. 6, Johnson is dealing with a new injury. Per ESPN, Johnson has a hamstring injury that will sideline him for Michigan’s pro day later in March. ESPN also reported that the injury isn’t considered serious and Johnson will have a private workout on April 14.
Johnson is the No. 9 overall player on Mel Kiper’s Big Board, and as long as he shows at his private workout that he’s recovered from both of his injuries, he shouldn’t fall further than the late first round.
