Former Michigan Wolverines cornerback Lavert Hill went undrafted this past weekend, but is heading for an NFL opportunity anyways. According to a report from Yahoo’s Terez Paylor, Hill is set to join the Kansas City Chiefs — who selected U-M DE Mike Danna in the fifth round — as an undrafted free agent.
Hill is a two-time All-Big Ten honoree and was a third-team All-American in 2018 and appeared in 48 games (38 starts) in his four seasons with the Wolverines. He finished his career tied for sixth in pass breakups all-time at the university and is one of four players in Michigan history to have multiple pick-sixes.
