NEW YORK -- A Big Ten Tournament at a new location. Four wins in four days, including victories over the Nos. 1, 2, and 4 seeds. An overlooked squad steamrolling into the NCAA Tournament. Sound familiar?
Michigan beat Purdue Sunday 75-66 to win its second straight Big Ten Tournament championship in a similar fashion as last year.
After becoming the first 8 seed to win the event in Washington, D.C. in 2017, Michigan came to New York as the 5 seed and beat Iowa in overtime before topping Nebraska, Michigan State, and the No. 2 seed Boilermakers.
