Michigan basketball's Zavier Simpson informed his teammates that he'd been suspended and wouldn't travel with the team for Tuesday's game at Nebraska.
There wasn't much further explanation. And the Wolverines were left to process the news that they'd have to go on the road without Simpson, their starting point guard and co-captain, because of a violation of team policies.
“We were all shocked," said center Jon Teske.
