A current Michigan basketball player is teaming up with one of the program's most notable alumni.
Sophomore big Tarris Reed Jr. will partner with the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy in an NIL deal through Champions Circle. Reed, who appeared in 34 games last season, will be involved in a variety of projects with the academy, which opened in 2011 in Detroit’s west side.
Reed will participate in a mentorship program, motivational speaking engagements and community outreach activities, according to a release from Champions Circle. He’ll also be involved with the school's fund-raising efforts.
