Mark Donnal realized he wasn’t coming back to Michigan for his fifth year.
Michigan’s fourth-year center made peace with it after watching Moe Wagner become the starter after Donnal held the job during Big Ten season a year earlier.
And, as of Monday, Donal is free to join another program as a graduate transfer.
“I was given my release yesterday, went to compliance, so I’m just now starting the process of people calling me,” Donnal told the Free Press.
Donnal has no restrictions on where he can transfer.
