In Michigan basketball's highest-scoring performance since the turn of the century, Isaiah Livers stole the spotlight.
The junior forward, who entered the night averaging 15 points this season, scored a career-best 24 points in the Wolverines’ 111-68 win over Houston Baptist. It’s the most points U-M has scored since posting 112 against Indiana in February 1998.
Throughout the night, Livers stood at the center of his team’s success. He spearheaded the Wolverines’ initial 21-4 run with nine points in the game’s first seven minutes. He finished 9-for-10 from the field and 4-for-5 from the 3-point line while sinking both his free throws.
