EVANSTON, Ill. — There were days when Isaiah Livers didn't know if he'd be able to play basketball again this season.
As Michigan basketball's junior forward dealt with a groin injury that cost him six games — and then another injury that forced him to sit another three games — there were quiet moments when Livers would find his way to a basketball court all by himself.
Livers would cut. He'd jump. He'd try all the range of motion required, in the hopes of finding out that he was indeed ready to make his return.
