Nothing seemed out of the ordinary when Isaiah Livers began warming up before Michigan basketball's game at Iowa on Friday night.
As several Wolverines walked onto the floor at Carver-Hawkeye Arena and began dribbling and shooting, so did Livers.
Then warm-ups ended, and Livers settled into his now-familiar seat on the bench.
He stayed there as U-M lost its fifth road game in as many tries.
A groin injury suffered in the opening minutes of a win over Presbyterian on Dec. 21 has kept him out of Michigan's past five games, during which the Wolverines are 2-3.
